John Finney- Parnell Jones Scholarship Recipients
We congratulate the recipients of this year’s SCAS scholarship and commend their dedication to overcoming challenges associated with sickle cell disease. Your achievements inspire us, and we are honored to support your educational journey!
Our scholarship program aims to alleviate financial barriers and empower deserving individuals from the Savannah-Chatham County communities.

Kemar is a 2024 graduate of Savannah High School at which time he was dual-enrolled at Savannah State University. Kemar is a resilient and ambitious student excelling and ranking #7 out of 100 in his graduating class. He will attend Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Mississippi in the Fall of 2024.

April will be entering Savannah Technical College in Savannah, Georgia, where she will embark upon her career objective toward a Nursing Degree.

Keyshawn is presently enrolled and entering his senior year at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Engineering; thereafter, he will pursue a master’s degree.
